I won a Giveaway on
Instagram from Siren Cosmetics, I got samples of the new "Spark" collection of eyeshadows, so I decided to do a couple of looks, and a little review, I received some really pretty colors, one look I used primer, and I didn't for the other, you definitely need to use a primer for it to stick right, but it's worth it with most of the colors, I love Shut it Down, it reminds me of Dark City, and I don't have any other colors like it (check out the pink and teal glitter in the pic of both my eyes when they are closed below)he red (Astro) had an incredible payoff, but the black (Frantic) was disappointing, these pics are right after application using a primer, and it started fading in the crease right away. The only other thing I didn't like was that neither shadow I used in either look, on my waterline worked, they both ended up under my eye very quickly. I wish I had used eye primer on the 2nd look, but I was in a hurry, Bel Air is absolutely gorgeous, and glittery, and I think the glitter would have stayed on better if I had used primer, I wish that the pics showed this look better, it was so much prettier in person. Overall I'm pretty happy with the shadows, and with sample size baggies only being 50 cents, you can try out the colors you want, and make sure you like them before spending full price on the full size.
Here are all my samples....
All the stuff I used in the first look...
Siren Cosmetics Eyeshadow, Venus on browbone, Frantic in crease, Shut it Down Blended above that, and on waterline, and Astro on lid and underneath my eye.
A little blurry, so you can see that glitter.....
Here's the stuff I used in the 2nd look...
I used Siren Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Diamond Girl on my browbone, Bel Air in crease, and under eye, and Heart Breaker on lid, and in waterline.
I focused on what I used from Siren Cosmetics in this post because it was a review, I pretty much use the same stuff over and over again, and am way behind on posts since I've been sick, so I didn't list all of it, but if you are wondering about anything, you see pictured, please don't hesitate to ask!
