Push Up Pop!

I am ready for warmer weather, and I have to broaden my ice cream nails, so I'm not doing the same ones over, and over. So I did some Push Up Pops, one of my favorites!

I used 1 coat of Glitter Bunny Rainbow Sprinkles over 3 coats of Salon Perfect Bellini, I used that, and Salon Perfect Sugar Cube, and yellow, red, black, and blue stripers, over a base of Nicole by OPI Lights, Kim-era, Action for the push up, and topped it off with 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Loaded Dolly

I'm finally getting caught up on my posts! It's taken me forever to get this up. This is a special post for Heather, the owner of Loaded Lacquer, she's excited to see swatches from my recent purchase from Dollish Polish, and around the same time I got some new Loaded Lacquers too, so I decided to pair some of them together, some Loaded Dollies if you will.....

I used 1 coat of Loaded Lacquer Cuts Like a Knife over 2 coats of Dollish Polish I Like Chocolate Milk, Layla Ceramic Effect #53 drips, and topped it off with 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

I used 1 coat of Dollish Polish Yo Ho Ho A Pirate's Life For Me alternated with Loaded Lacquer Cave of Skulls over 2 coats of China Glaze Merry Berry, and topped it off with 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top  Coat.

*Get Lei'd has a jelly consistency, I used so many coats because I can't stand to see the line in my nail, but next time I'll use undies instead, like the Flamingo Flair under the flowers, it didn't change the color.

I used 4 coats of Loaded Lacquer Get Lei'd on my forefinger, and pinky, and 1 coat of Dollish Polish Those Meddling Kids! over 3 coats of Salon Perfect Loopy Lime, I used some stripers and Salon Perfect Flamingo Flair topped with L.L. Get Lei'd for the flowers, and 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Polish Addict Flip Flops & Wine, Love&Theft

3 of my favorite things Flip Flops, Wine, and a bright red coral nail polish, annnd it glows in the dark! I had to have it! I thinned it a bit, like I do with all my polishes, and it applied great, and dried really fast.

I used 1 coat of Polish Addict Nail Color Flip Flops & Wine over 2 coats of Salon Perfect Sweet Melon, and topped it off with 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

I also have Love&Theft, a brilliant glitter topper, that has so much glitter in it I can't even tell what all is in it.

I used 1 coat of Polish Addict Nail Color Love&Theft over 2 coats of Salon Perfect Mint Julep, and 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Ipsy March Glam Bag Review

So I was fairly happy with my March Glam Bag from Ipsy, but very unhappy that I didn't get the Nicole by OPI Roughles, I mean come on I'm mostly a nail blogger, 36 of the 38 looks I've posted on Ipsy are nail looks, you would think they'd pay attention to that, but onto what I did get. Let's start with the bag, it's by artist Klari Reis, and I think it's pretty cool that they are giving artists this opportunity. I got Pixie Beauty Flawless Beauty Primer, which is a tinted primer, it was okay, but didn't do much for me, not tinted enough to even out my skintone, and was pretty thin, my make-up stayed on fine, but not much better than not using primer at all, I'm in love with my Hard Candy primer, and it's not going to pull me away from that. Next there's the Chella Indigo Blue Eyeliner, it is a fine tip eyeliner pen, it has a really fine tip which I liked, but eyeliner pens just aren't my favorite I don't like having to shake them down, and then it would flake off when I went back over it after I shook it down, or when I tried to clean up my lines, and I didn't like that at all. Then there's the bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready, I'm not sure if I loved it or hated it, the shade was a little weird on me, in certain light it went a little orange, which I didn't like, but in other light was pink which was fine, it had a hint of peppermint, which I loved, it applied well, and felt nice, and stayed on pretty well, but bled a bit even with lip liner, which I don't like. I saved the best for last, NYX Love in Rio eyeshadow in The Brazilian I absolutely adore it, so it makes it worth the 10 bucks for the bag, it applies great, blends well, and was long-wearing, I will use the light shade, a peachy nude with gold glitter ALL the time! Here's a few pics, and I'll put a list of everything I used after...

I used: Urban Decay Tinted Moisturizer in Halo
Revlon Age Defying Base in Nude Beige
Pixie Flawless Beauty Primer
NYX Love in Rio The Brazilian Eyeshadow
Urban Decay Evidence
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Ink
Chella Indigo Blue Eyeliner
NYX Doll Eye Mascara
Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara
Hard Candy Fox in a Box Hot Flash Blush Quad
NYX Rose Lip Liner
bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready

Polish Addict Jellyfish 2

I got more gorgeous polishes from Polish Addict Nail Color, it was so hard to pick which one to use, but I settled on Jellyfish 2, the batch I got was a little blue, (I think the base is usually beige) but still gorgeous, and applied perfectly

I used 1 coat of Polish Addict Jellyfish 2 over 2 coats of China Glaze Kinetic Candy, 2 coats of Pretty Serious Mummy Mush, for the base, and acrylic paint covered with Urban Outfitters Oyster for my accent, and OPI Honey Ryder on my pinky, topped with 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat on all but my pinky.

Hard Candy Mom & Pop

I'm always excited to see when Hard Candy has new nail colors, and I am loving the new "pop" colors, there are some pretty bright pastels, and some bright bold ones too, I had to put this one on right away, and some little bags of popcorn for my accents, Mini Me says they still look like ice creams, but they're popcorn okay?!? Lol.

I used 1 coat of Hard Candy Mom & Pop over 2 coats of Mint Polish Pass the Scone, some acrylic paints for the popcorn, and little stars from cherry poppin' nails, topped off with 3 coats off Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. The Hard Candy was really rough, and it's a new bottle of Seche, so I needed an extra coat.

Chilly

Quick post, I was excited to use some of my new polishes, and was cold and sad from what is hopefully the last cold front, I know it's colder other places, but it was cold to me.

I used 1 coat of Urban Outfitters Chilly over 2 coats of Pretty Serious Forbidden Fruit, and topped it off with 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Bacon Sunrise

I decided to try out some Urban Outfitters nail polish, they have some awesome colors, and are a great price, I got a bunch in the store, but couldn't find this one, so I got it on EBay for 6 bucks, and free shipping, which I thought was still a good price. The formula was good, and dried fast, and is holding up pretty well, I looked up some bacon nail art on Pinterest, and found a Popular Polish pin that was pretty simple looking, so I did something similar....

I used 3 coats of Urban Outfitters Bacon Sunrise, and 3 coats of OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons on my accent and B.S. for the meaty squiggles, topped off with 2coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Hannibal

Y'all know I did my nails for Hannibal! The premiere was lots of scary fun, and just plain scary in other parts. Both polishes applied wonderfully.

I used 1 coat of I♡NP A Nice Chianti over 2 coats of Chirality Devil's Night, and topped off with 2 coats of Seche Vite Dry  Fast Top Coat.
